VOLUNTEER INFORMATION SHEET
To: All Volunteers for 2018 Festival

THANK YOU for volunteering to help with the Baja Blues Fest 2018 on August 17, 18 and 19. We hope you enjoy the event and have lots of fun! Please remember to wear your volunteer T-shirt and wristband which designates you as a volunteer. You should receive your shirt from your volunteer Coordinator, prior to the day of the event and you can pick up your wristband at the volunteer table at the entrance.
YOU ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND all of the three events that weekend and two of them are free to you. Friday night Meet-n-Greet will require a $10 advance ticket or $20 at the door. Saturday and Sunday events are free to you. Please make sure that you are somehow identified as a volunteer to avoid paying to attend. Remember you DO REPRESENT the Baja Blues Fest and do promise to act accordingly.
CHARITIES FOR 2018 are the Los Angelitos Orphanage Foundation, La Mision Children's Fund, BECA Scholarship Fund and Friends of the Library
LOCATION of the event is the Rosarito Beach Hotel. The Friday night pre-party will be held in the Adobe Lounge to the left of the main lobby. The Saturday main event will be held in the garden area between the hotel and the beach on the north side of the pier. The Sunday Jam Session will be held in the same garden area on the smaller cement stage on the south side of the pier.
WHERE TO GO ON ARRIVAL: Volunteer Table at the main entrance to check in and receive your wrist band.
WHAT TO WEAR: Dress comfortably and bring sunscreen! Wear your Volunteer T-shirt. Mostly you will be standing and walking so remember to wear comfortable shoes.
ALCOHOL: NO ALCOHOL is to be consumed by Volunteers when they are working the event and wearing your volunteer shirt. NO EXCEPTIONS
SALES: You may be asked to sell drink and food tickets, festival merchandise or event tickets. You may be asked to hand out literature in a booth, answer attendees questions or help near an entrance/exit.
